Chat (IRC)

Please feel free to join us in our IRC channel at chat.freenode.net (port 6667) #jbpm.  This is where most of the real-time discussion about the project takes place and where you can find most of the developers most of their time as well.  Don't have an IRC client installed? Simply go to http://webchat.freenode.net, input your desired nickname, and specify #jbpm. Then click login to join the fun.

Guidelines:

  • Don't ask if you can ask, just ask your question.
  • Don't paste code to the channel, unless its a single line, use a nopaste service such as pastebin and paste the link you get after pasting your code.
  • Don't private message people, always ask your questions in the public channel.
  • If you use the online irc web gateway make sure you change your nick from the "dork" default, as requested in the login page.

 

Forum

The jBPM User Forum can be used or posting user questions and answers. Remember: answering is all based on voluntary work, so consider to contribute as many answers as you got from others to keep the system going.

 

Issue tracker

The jBPM JIRA project can be used as an entry point to report all jBPM related issues. Issues for graphical process designer and BPEL will be moved to their separate jira projects.


Mailing list

The developers mailing list can be used to for discussions on the design and development of jBPM.  If you have usage questions, please use the forums.

The Hudson build server continuously builds the latest and most up-to-date version of the project.  You can use it to download the last successful SNAPSHOT release.
